Position: Sales Representative
DMJ is a highly regarded and respected Manufacturers Representative firm engaged by AV Manufacturers to represent their sales efforts in multiple states throughout the US. Our team of professionals, with over 75 years of collective experience, remains at the forefront of the market place, exploring and introducing innovative, high impact and emerging AV and IT technologies.
DMJ is looking for a highly motivated sales professional to manage and develop our Midwest Territory. The states covered by this territory are IL, IA and WI.
Job description:
- Promote various Manufacturers Products to AV dealers, consultants and end-users – with demonstrations, product updates and guidance.
- Provide training, technical education and first line support to customers and resellers.
- Interact daily with AV dealers and end-users in your territory – helping to resolve any issues that require liaison with the Manufacturer.
- Create and execute a sales plan for your territory.
Skills:
- Outstanding Interpersonal skills are a must.
- Previous experience in relationship selling with proven results.
- A comprehensive knowledge of the AV arena in both products and people.
- Self starter able to work as part of a team.
Required:
- Must live in close geographical proximity to the territory.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time within the territory.
